The historic city of Poitiers is a frequent stop over for travellers breaking their journey between the Channel ports and destinations further south such as the Dordogne, Pyrenees and the Cote d’Azur.There is a great variety of things to do and places to see ranging from a number of historic churches and other buildings in the old part of the town to the 40 acre Futuroscope leisure and fun park just north of the town.
