Description: A converted old chateau offering a traditional French open air museum. Situated on a vast site there are many resited original buildings with some traditional crafts on display such as bread making and blacksmiths to mention but two. Surprisingly for such an excellent place we found this pleasantly quiet when we visited.Location: Just off the D40 30km north east of Cahors.General Info: Telephone ahead for opening times on 05 65 22 58 63.Our recommendations: Make sure to take a picnic – there’s loads of space and picnic tables in the grounds.
