Galicia – Gites near Duras
This pair of fabulously decorated, well equipped stone gîtes are situated just a few kilometres from the small town of Duras with its château steeped in history, weekly market, restaurants and shops. Surrounded by nature, without neighbours or roads, peace and serenity welcomes you in a relaxing and peaceful setting.
The smaller gîte (Petit Galicia) accommodates up to 4 people in 3 bedrooms and the larger gîte (Grand Galicia) accommodates 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The large heated swimming pool, which is heated from April to November, with its straw hut overlooks stunning scenery and is a great place for lazing in the sun, enjoying al fresco dining and sipping the chilled wines of the Duras appellation. You will find many vineyards dotted around nearby where you can sample the local wines. The private lake is accessible for walks, picnics and fishing trips without a license. There is play equipment such as swings in the grounds.
