Le Logis d’Epargnes is our beautiful Manor house with a heated pool in the delightful village of Epargnes, Charente Maritime.
We are close to the sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast and ancient villages and ports along the Gironde estuary. Great for exploring and enjoying the beaches with children and family.
Accommodation
We don’t think you’ll be wanting for anything. The Manor House is set in spacious, fully enclosed and gated gardens with a 12 x 6 metre heated pool, which is alarmed and can be securely locked by gate – very safe for small children. The 7 rooms are over 2 floors with 5 private/en-suite bathrooms and a spare WC; some rooms share a bathroom – ideal for families.
The unique ambiance of the house comes from the high ceilings, the historic winding staircase, beautiful large dining room with views to the vineyard next door and huge lounge with comfortable sofas and chairs, fireplace and an elegant hallway.
Bedrooms have high ceilings and are tastefully and luxuriously decorated. The large kitchen is fully equipped with double oven, gas hob, grill, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. There is a dining table in the kitchen.

L’Esprit
The L’Esprit room is a luxurious double room on the first floor with a view to the back garden with brand new ensuite shower room, high ceilings, a high window, tea & coffee making facilities, bottled water and sweets.
Elegance
The Elegance room is a luxurious king on the first floor with view to the front garden and pool, with ensuite shower, high ceilings, 3 high windows, tea & coffee making facilities, bottled water and sweets.
Prestige
Our Prestige room is a luxurious king room on the second floor with view over the vineyards, with large ensuite bath/shower room, beamed ceilings, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water and sweets. There is a day-bed in this room, making it possible to sleep 3 people.Â
Paradis
Our Paradis room is a luxurious king room on the second floor with view over the vineyards, a double daybed makes this room suitable for 4 persons, with private shower room, beamed ceilings, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water and sweets.
Family Room – Elegance & Ellipse
If you are a family with 1 or 2 children (12-18years) on a B&B basis, we can accommodate you in our family room (“Elegance” and “Ellipse” – a twin room with single beds) and enjoy a shared bathroom, bottled water and sweets.
Two Room Suite – Prestige & Pineau
If you are a group of 3 to 5 persons, we can accommodate you in our 2 room suite (“Prestige” and “Pineau” – a room with a double bed) and enjoy a large shared bathroom, bottled water and sweets.Â
Exterior
There’s plenty of space on the huge terrace for having barbecues, we have a stone one and a Webber, and outdoor dining at the large table. You can spend the sunny days lazing around in the extensive gardens, with ample sun-beds and garden furniture. We also have a garden bar, which is a great place to hang out in the warm evenings. There are shutters on the windows, allowing you to keep out the hot sun and keep the house cool in the summer heat. This is a place ideally suited to family group holidays – and the kids will adore the days in the pool! We also have garden games, as well as table tennis and a boule/petanque court. The garden is fully illuminated at night.
